Eduard Weichselbaumer (CEO and Member of the Board)

Eduard Weichselbaumer is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience building and managing companies all around the globe, from small startups to Nasdaq listed companies. He combines a background in BA and EE having led the operational, engineering, as well as sales and marketing efforts of many organizations.

Before joining PrimeNano, he had taken leadership roles in companies like LSI Logic, Synopsys Semiconductor IP business, Artisan Components (Nasdaq: ARTI), Virage Logic (Nasdaq: VIRL), SOISIC and CEITEC SA. He was also the founding CEO of a startup semiconductor company which owns a 6” wafer fabrication plant and more than 100 chip designers.

Stefano Concina (CTO & VP of Engineering)

Stefano Concina is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in high technology firms in engineering, business development, general management and corporate investment.

Prior to PrimeNano, Stefano was CTO and GM at Electro Scientific Industries, a leading manufacturer of lasers and laser processing equipment. Prior to that he worked at KLA-Tencor as business unit GM and later as Managing Director of its corporate venture fund. Stefano started his professional career at Schlumberger, in various engineering positions and as GM of the Electron Beam probing business.

He holds a Diplôme d’Ingenieur from ESIEE, France, and MSEE from Caltech and did graduate work at Stanford.

Nicholas Antoniou (VP of Product Management and Business Development)

Nicholas Antoniou has over 30 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and nanotechnology research. He started his career in microprocessor yield enhancement and process integration at Motorola and Ross Technology and from there migrated into product management of capital equipment serving the nanotechnology industry. He managed particle beam equipment at Harvard University’s Center for Nanoscale Systems and prior to joining PrimeNano was in the development of new materials metrology systems at Nova Measuring Instruments.

Nicholas holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering both from Texas A&M University.

He is an active member of IEEE and EDFAS.
